Paper Fashion Show 2013

The 9th Annual Paper Fashion Show was once again held at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and once again Barry Brown Creative created the winning entry. 3 years in a row his team has created breathtaking designs. This year I actually had to go and touch the gown to make sure it was paper...yes it was....amazing! ( photos by Jim Wills via WestWord)

Best Accesories Award went to this beautiful creation
My Personal Favorite took 2nd Place
...and my daughter's Siena's favorite came 3rd

and in an unofficial category of "who got most whistles"...he did...
And they all took home the award trophies designed and built by myself in collaboration with The Object Shop
Thank you for my lovely date, Siena Blue, for the evening. It was a blast

8th Annual Paper Fashion Show

The Art Directors Club Denver’s Paper Fashion Show is the largest paper fashion show in the nation with over 50 design teams registered for the 2012 show. The 8th Annual Paper Fashion Show will be held on March 15, 2012 at The Denver Center for Performing Arts.

Designers create fashions from paper donated by xpedx®. These fashions are showcased at our grand runway show, and voted on by a panel of judges. The event includes a fully stocked cash bar.

Part of the proceeds and auctioned fashion designs from the Paper Fashion Show benefit Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA), a local community organization that provides after-school arts programs for at-risk youth.

My team of 3 is participating this year for the ADCD 8th Annual Paper Fashion Show. Concept is ready, Construction about to start......Here is out concept

Creative CoLab+ at The 7th Annual Paper Fashion Show in Denver

The 7th Annual Paper Fashion Show, organized by Art Directors Club Denver and sponsored by several local firms including my Creative CoLab+, on Thursday night was a huge success. It drew 1,000 patrons to witness the jaw-dropping wearable art!! You can see the Photo Gallery Here

I designed and built the award trophies with another designer, Snow Galvin. This was the first year that winners got a trophie, and we were very exited to be the sponsors for this.

Here are some images of the process:
