This week I have worked on a concept design for a Creative Group, and used my team as an inspiration. We are a diverse group of 6 dedicated designers, coming together to create a more holistic experience in design. Our talents range from interior and architectural design, industrial design, furniture, jewelry, graphics and branding.
We are not your typical design firm, and our space certainly not a typical office space. It's a one large space with dedicated areas separated with room dividers and pony walls. When you first enter the office you see a waiting room and our little "showroom" with a collage of some of our work. Pony wall separating the work area and waiting area showcases our logo and a little peek-a-boo window to the work area.....

....as you move on to the work room, { THE LAB } where all the magic happens, you will see that the pony wall has a built in seating on the other side. This area provides a littel break area for the team. Fun little reading area with bean bags.....and I'm seriously contemplating adding there a little swing hanging from the ceiling ;-))
The work area has all the desks grouped closely together as we love working together and throwing ideas back and forth during the day. The big wall behind the desk serves as a giant presentation board for images that insipire us or are related to current projects.
At the back of the room is our little library of professional literature and samples.
Conference room is meant for larger brainstorming meetings and meetings with clients...unless they insist on swinging while talking business ;-)....
hallway on the right leads to restroom and a little kitchenette
