My Trip to NYC - Part 1 - Visual Merchandising

I recently returned from a trip to NYC. My dear friend from Finland, Eeva, was visiting the city and I though it was the perfect way to combine seeing her and one of my favorite cities in the world.

I brought home with me wonderful memories and tons of photos that I'm currently organizing. Here are some window display and visual merchandising pictures I took during my little 5 day vacation.

Anthropologie always has the most amazing window displays

and the displays inside are equally impressive in their creativity

This is a paper lantern (in various sizes) that has origami shapes glued onto it forming this beautiful flower light fixture. Leaves are thin cardboard. I will have to try and make one myself. It is so delicious!

I saw some other gorgeous window displays as well and luckuly carried my camera with me.

Here is a Bergdorf Goodman window

I will take these images with me to Village In pancake breakfast tomorrow morning and ask the balloon-lady, if she can make me one of these ;-P

This one was in meatpacking district

Its a really wonderful Blog. Retail graphic point of purchase displays are an effective way to create brand awareness and promote your product.
